Living Life Through Literature

Hello! I’m Susan Nadathur, author of outcasts and outsiders, lover of literature, and all things young adult. I invite you to explore my world through the pages of this website. You’ll find information about me, my work with young adults, my books, and our community of Christian creatives. I hope that as I have found solace and peace in other author’s books, you will find the same in mine. Books have been my therapy for as long as I can remember. First as a reader, and then as a writer. I hope to give back a small part of the healing I received by offering my books as a source of comfort to you.

If you are wondering how you will ever feel whole again after the death of a loved one, read Diego’s story in City of Sorrows.

If you are a young person struggling with a difficult relationship, read Dante and Kiriela’s story in Dante’s Kiss.

And if you find yourself struggling with a shadow of darkness you can’t quite define, read Jadiel’s story in Mind Binder, Book 1 of my new YA trilogy The Halls of AbaddonThis new series explores the darker side of young adulthood while offering hope to those struggling with destructive thoughts, emotional upheaval, and self-harm.

Finally, if you have ever asked the question, “Is my struggle with sadness, loneliness and despair something more than just the downside of life?” visit my blog, where I share personal experiences and insight on being hurt, healing, and the writer’s life.

I hope you enjoy visiting here and would love to hear your comments. This is a safe place for all those who have been wounded by life, or pierced by the stigma of being labeled “different.” Be sure to sign up for a chance to win a free copy of City of Sorrows by opting into the mailing list. As an added benefit, you’ll get updates about future book releases, events in your area, and our growing community of Christian writers, painters, poets, and musicians.

If you feel like sharing some of your world with me, please connect on this special forum for all the misfits who, like me, live in a colorfully chaotic world.
